To us, Hoca Efendi was a role model inspiring us to portray good deeds into the world not just for ourselves, but also to motivate other people into doing so. This is what hizmet was. Doing good things in hope that other people will continue this tradition. As Hoca Efendi was essentially one of the founders of the organization, he was a very important figure in our lives. He gave us hope in not only ourselves, but also the entirety of humanity. He did not care about worldly possessions and often acted upon other peoples needs over himself. He was not egotistical, and never put down anyone just because of his popularity/fame. In conclusion, Hoca Efendi was a role model for everyone, but specifically hizmet and was one of the founders of what is now a organization which is spread across the world helping people with whatever they need. He taught us to work hard, make money, and spend some of that money on others.
